Job Summary:
This role is responsible for providing leadership for District Admissions and Records units responsible for Regulatory Enrollment Reporting, Admissions Processing, Veterans Educational Benefit Processing, International Student Admissions and Compliance, Transcript Evaluation, Graduation Outreach and Completion Mining and Enrollment Record Maintenance and works with other TCCD Student Services Areas in support of these responsibilities.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential Performance Requirements*
⦁ Interprets college policy and implements resulting procedures pertaining to admission, grade and record changes, and enrollment records maintenance integrity
⦁ Monitors the creation, maintenance, and update of undergraduate and continuing education student records and assures accuracy of these records
⦁ Maintains current knowledge of new or changing admissions, veterans benefits, international student and records related regulations, develops and modifies procedures and standards accordingly, and incorporates innovative, efficient, and effective processes into department’s operations
⦁ Leads, directs and initiates the hiring process as needed for direct reports
⦁ Collects student data that informs decision-making; develops, prioritizes, and delivers services required for admissions, veterans benefits processing, transcript evaluation, international student admissions and compliance and enrollment record (transcript) management
⦁ Collaborates with other departments/divisions to develop and implement student success and fraud prevention initiatives
⦁ Represents the department on various committees, task forces and other internal groups as well as working closely with key vendors and other external partnerships
⦁ Reviews and administers the department’s operational budget
⦁ Serves in lead role to develop/implement training for assigned offices
⦁ Works closely with TCC OneIT leadership to assess, recommend, and implement systems and technologies to support department and college initiatives; actively participates in the development and implementation of the college’s Student Information System (or student component of college Enterprise Resource Planning software) as well as other student-related TCC technologies
⦁ Ensures compliance with Federal Student Privacy Law (FERPA), Texas Administrative (Education) Code, federal and state policies related to veteran educational benefits, and federal rules related to International Student Admissions and Compliance
General Supervision and Management
⦁ Provides leadership for full time staff
⦁ Providing direction, on-going monitoring, and support for the responsibilities of the District Admissions and Records office
Service Excellence
⦁ Participates on behalf of the College in external community organizations and associations, including AACARO, TACARO, and NTCURAO, as assigned to support the essential performance requirements
⦁ Attends the workplace regularly, reports to work punctually, and follows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of the worksite
⦁ Completes all required training and professional development sessions sponsored through Tarrant County College (TCC)
⦁ Supports the mission, values, goals, and principles of the College
Supervision
Works under the general supervision of the assigned department leader

Required Minimum Qualifications:
⦁ Master's Degree
⦁ Six (6) years of experience at an administrative level in a higher education enrollment services role
⦁ Three (3) years working experience supervising (e.g. managing and evaluating the performance of others)
Preferred Qualifications:
⦁ At least one (1) year’s working experience at a Texas public community college in an equivalent role
⦁ At least one (1) year’s working experience with Ellucian Banner and/or Colleague student systems
⦁ At least one (1) year’s working experience in a strategic enrollment management role
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
⦁ Knowledge of THECB regulations
⦁ Working knowledge of relevant state and federal laws pertaining to higher education
⦁ Skilled in excellent customer service and interpersonal relationships, including strong listening, verbal, and written communication
⦁ Skilled using computer applications and enterprise systems, including Microsoft 365, with advanced spreadsheet development and utilization skills
⦁ Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
⦁ Ability to analyze data and provide sound recommendations based on policy, procedure, practice, and existing regulations
⦁ Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly ensuring accurate and timely completion, while exhibiting strong attention to detail and organization
⦁ Ability to delegate work appropriately to faculty and staff to meet College and campus deliverables
