Job Summary:

Reporting to the assigned campus leader, the Enrollment Associate is responsible for performing a variety of high-level clerical and administrative duties related to processing student admissions applications and related information.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Performance Requirements*
⦁ Assist students and prospective students in person, by phone, and in writing; provides instructions based on Tarrant County College (TCC) policies and procedures
⦁ Processes incoming high school transcripts and conducts research to establish student academic status prior to entering TCC, including residency status, high school graduation status (including rank and grade point average), home school status, and veterans' status; analyzes test scores to determine eligibility to be exempt from testing
⦁ Coordinates workflow with other departments and programs on campus
⦁ Interacts with different databases, ensuring confidentiality of all stored data
⦁ Interprets and follows prescribed procedures to produce a large volume of work
⦁ Maintains knowledge of state regulations and TCC policies and procedures; applies knowledge to the application process
⦁ Performs advanced administrative work depending on area of assignment
⦁ Performs advanced administrative work depending on the area of assignment, including processing different documents, forms, reports and files, and assists supervisor with office management duties
⦁ Processes applications and enters data into the TCC System and processes re-admission requests, updating demographic information, academic history, and academic status and processes continuing education information
⦁ Processes documents regarding residency, meningitis shot records, course changes, tuition exemptions/waivers, Texas Success initiative (TSI), and class reinstatements

⦁ Attends the workplace regularly, reports to work punctually, and follows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of the worksite
⦁ Completes all required training and professional development sessions sponsored through Tarrant County College (TCC)
⦁ Supports the mission, values, goals, and principles of the College

Supervision
⦁ Works under the general supervision of the assigned campus leader

Required Minimum Qualifications:

⦁ High school diploma or equivalent
⦁ Two (2) years' working experience related to the Essential Performance Requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

⦁ Associate's degree or 60+ college hours

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

⦁ Skilled in excellent customer service and interpersonal relationships
⦁ Skilled using computerized applications and enterprise systems, including word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software
