Job Summary:

Reporting to the Vice Chancellor and Provost, this leadership position is responsible for providing operational support and guidance for Education Partnerships functions on all campuses. The position will provide college-wide leadership for and oversight of the operations, implementation, management, assessment, alignment and quality improvement of the College’s educational partnership programs, including early outreach, dual enrollment, and transfer programs in compliance with the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board Establishes and maintains positive educational community relationships that contribute to the College’s ability to fulfill its mission.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Performance Requirements*
⦁ Collaborates with the campus Director of Educational Partnerships and coordinates collegewide efforts related to educational partnerships to achieve the College’s goals with a focus on college success, career readiness, and House Bill 8 outcomes.
⦁ Collaborates with campus and district leadership to develop, implement, evaluate, and report on academically sound programs that encourage a continuum of education through strategic partnerships with K-12 schools, colleges and universities, employers, and community organizations
⦁ In consultation with campus and district leadership, provides direction, on-going monitoring, and support for college-wide operations standards related to educational partnership agreements and relationships
⦁ Coordinates with various college offices to build upon and secure a variety of higher education partnership articulation agreements and future developing partnerships supporting the continuum of education
⦁ Works with the campuses, independent school districts, and college offices, including the Vice Chancellor and Provost’s office and Facilities, to develop appropriate agreements for dual credit, early college high schools, Pathways in Technology Early College High Schools (P-TECH), dual enrollment, and other partnership agreements
⦁ Facilitates partnerships with other colleges and universities and works with the campuses and college offices, including the Vice Chancellor and Provost’s office, campus leadership, and Facilities, to develop agreements such as dual enrollment, transfer articulation, and co-location agreements
⦁ Collaborates regularly with the campus Directors of Educational Partnerships to guide, support, and monitor alignment of college-wide operations standards and programming for educational partnerships
⦁ Collaborates regularly with the campus coordinators of transfer centers to guide, support, and monitor alignment of college-wide operations standards
⦁ Prepares and reviews reports to the Vice Chancellor and Provost, Champion for educational partnerships, and Directors of Educational Partnerships evaluating the data-informed results of educational partnership agreements and activities
⦁ Develops professional growth and learning opportunities to enhance internal and external capacities for effective communications, trainings, and outreach for both staff and faculty (whether embedded high school faculty or TCC hired faculty) in collaboration with the Organizational Excellence and Development division
⦁ Stays current with national and state legislation, statutes, rules, and regulations to strategically align educational partnership work to be in compliance and focused on the needs of the state, county, and College and to leverage opportunities available within educational partnerships.
⦁ Liaises with Campus Directors of Educational Partnerships to identify college-wide marketing needs for the recruitment of educational partners

General Supervision and Management
⦁ Provides leadership for the District Educational Partnerships staff
⦁ Oversees department budget and manages expenditures for the District Educational Partnerships office

Service Excellence
⦁ Participates on behalf of the College in external community organizations and associations
⦁ Attends the workplace regularly, reports to work punctually, and follows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of the worksite
⦁ Completes all required training and professional development sessions sponsored through the Tarrant County College (TCC) Institute
⦁ Supports the mission, values, goals, and principles of the College

Supervision
Works under the general supervision of the Vice Chancellor and Provost

Required Minimum Qualifications:

⦁ Master's degree
⦁ Three (3) years' experience related to the Essential Performance Requirements
⦁ Two (2) years' experience supervising (e.g., managing, evaluating the performance of others)

Preferred Qualifications:

⦁ Doctorate degree
⦁ At least one (1) year’s working experience in the formulation of transfer and articulation agreements, and memoranda of understanding within high school and college environments
⦁ At least one (1) year’s working experience in higher education, preferably at community college level, related to the Essential Performance Requirements
⦁ At least one (1) year’s teaching experience in higher education
⦁ At least one (1) year’s working experience in strategic planning

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

⦁ Knowledge of and state and federal regulations, including but not limited to due process for students, state regulations for high school, ADA compliance standards, and FERPA
⦁ Knowledge and understanding of the community college and K-12 systems
⦁ Skilled in excellent customer service and interpersonal relationships
⦁ Skilled using office productivity applications and enterprise systems, including word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software
⦁ Ability to analyze and evaluate outcomes and effectiveness of projects/programs
vAbility to generate and identify opportunities to improve programs and/or operations
⦁ Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
⦁ Ability to think critically to effectively solve and communicate problems in a fast-paced environment where the demands for work are varied, and unpredictable in scope and volume
⦁ Ability to analyze data and provide sound recommendations based on policy, procedure, practice, and existing regulations
⦁ Ability to delegate work appropriately to faculty and staff to meet College and campus deliverables

While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
