Compensation Details:  Starting Pay - $61,4854; Commensurate with education and experience

Work Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm; Flexibility is required, as occasional evening, early mornings and weekend hours may be necessary based on department needs.

Remote Eligible: This position is not eligible for remote work

Special Instructions to Applicant: This position will be located in the Erma C. Johnson Hadley Northwest Center of Excellence for Aviation, Transportation and Logistics.

Job Summary:

Reporting to the assigned department leadership, the Senior Campus Support Specialist is responsible for responding to staff requests for media equipment, support and supplies, performing minor repairs on equipment and assisting with inventory. This position is also responsible for installing and maintaining microcomputer hardware and software systems, providing technical assistance and training to system users, obtaining technical support from software and hardware companies, supporting the mainframe communications networks and maintaining complete documentation of hardware, software, and operating procedures.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Performance Requirements*
⦁ Completes scheduled setups/Ensures equipment is in good operating condition
⦁ Ensures correct software materials/Responds to emergency calls for assistance
⦁ Performs minor repairs and adjustments on equipment
⦁ Responds to faculty/administrative requests for media support
⦁ Assists with inventory of all campus media and computer equipment
⦁ Assists Networking Support staff in the troubleshooting of district technology
⦁ Maintains classroom inventory databases
⦁ Replaces defective or inadequate software packages
⦁ Refers major hardware problems to service personnel for correction
⦁ Attends technical conferences and seminars to keep abreast of new software and hardware product developments
⦁ Installs audio-visual-control systems including video conferencing systems, cabling and terminating video/audio systems, and equipment rack fabrication
⦁ Provides system testing and troubleshooting expertise on high-end A/V integrated control systems (i.e. Extron/Crestron)
⦁ Refers major hardware problems to service personnel for correction
⦁ Obtains technical support from software and hardware companies
⦁ Maintains complete documentation of hardware, software and operating procedures
⦁ Employees in this classification are considered Subject Matter Experts (SME) in either Classroom Media Integration (Extron/Crestron) or Desktop Support (Windows Policy/System Configuration Manager)

Required Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and (4) years of experience related to the Essential Performance Requirements; or any equivalent combination of education and work-related experience

Preferred Qualifications:

⦁ At least one (1) year's working experience working with Crestron and Extron equipment
⦁ At least one (1) year's working experience dealing with vendors, budget preparation and work schedules
⦁ Current Extron Certification
⦁ Current IT Project Management Certification or equivalent IT certification
⦁ Current MS System Center Configuration Manager/Intune certification

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

⦁ Skilled in operating basic audio/visual equipment
⦁ Skilled using computerized applications and enterprise systems, including word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software
⦁ Skilled in organizational skills
⦁ Skilled in excellent customer service and interpersonal relationships
⦁ Skilled in oral, electronic, and written communications
⦁ Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
⦁ Ability to think critically to effectively solve and communicate problems in a fast-paced environment where the demands for work are varied, and unpredictable in scope and volume
