Compensation Details:  Starting Pay - $37,900

Work Hours: The schedule varies based on department needs:
Fall and Spring: Monday – Friday, 6:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Summer: Monday – Thursday, 5:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Remote Eligible: This position is not eligible for remote work

Job Summary:

This role is responsible for delivering messages, documents, packages, and other items to college campuses and offices or business establishments.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Performance Requirements*
⦁ Delivers and receives bulk mail, data processing materials, cartons, catalogs, office supplies, inter campus mail, postage meters and other items
⦁ Delivers and picks up films at North Texas Library Service
⦁ Travels to delivery site on foot or by automobile
⦁ Keeps log of items received and delivered
⦁ Obtains receipts for articles delivered
⦁ Ensures appropriate vehicle maintenance for assigned vehicle

Service Excellence
⦁ Attends the workplace regularly, reports to work punctually, and follows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of the worksite
⦁ Completes all required training and professional development sessions sponsored through Tarrant County College (TCC)
⦁ Supports the mission, values, goals, and principles of the College

Supervision
⦁ Works under the general supervision of the assigned department leader

*Performs Other Related Tasks as Required

Required Minimum Qualifications:

⦁ High School diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
⦁ One (1) year's working experience related to the Essential Performance Requirements
⦁ Valid Texas Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record

Preferred Qualifications:

At least one (1) year's working experience with USPS postal services

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

⦁ Skilled in excellent customer service and interpersonal relationships
⦁ Skilled using computer applications and enterprise systems, including word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software
⦁ Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
⦁ Ability to follow a rigid time schedule
