Job Summary:
This role provides professional customer service and administrative support to the Human Resources (HR) department. The position is responsible for delivering high-quality clerical, receptionist, and project-based support, ensuring efficient daily operations and effective service to internal and external stakeholders.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential Performance Requirements*
⦁ Enters, updates, and maintains employee records in HR systems and databases, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of data entry as well as alignment with established procedures
⦁ Assists with compiling, formatting, and preparing standard and routine reports to support internal operations and external reporting requirements, following established procedures and guidance
⦁ Responds to routine HR inquiries, providing guidance within established policies and referring complex matters as needed
⦁ Prepares and formats correspondence, forms, and other departmental documents with attention to detail and consistency
⦁ Identifies basic issues and utilizes available resources and procedures to support timely resolution
⦁ Provides cross-functional support to other HR areas, as assigned
Service Excellence
⦁ Attends the workplace regularly, reports to work punctually, and follows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of the worksite
⦁ Completes all required training and professional development sessions sponsored through Tarrant County College (TCC)
⦁ Supports the mission, values, goals, and principles of the College
Supervision
Works under the general supervision of the assigned department leader

Required Minimum Qualifications:
⦁ High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
⦁ Three (3) years of experience providing administrative support
Preferred Qualifications:
⦁ Associate’s degree
⦁ At least one (1) year’s working experience in a Higher Education
⦁ At least one (1) year’s working experience in Human Resources
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
⦁ Knowledge of general office and administrative support practices, including records management, data entry, document preparation, and routine reporting procedures in a professional office environment
⦁ Skilled in delivering high-quality customer service and building effective interpersonal relationships, including strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills
⦁ Skilled using computer applications and enterprise systems, including word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software
⦁ Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in collaborative environments, engaging with faculty, staff, and external stakeholders
⦁ Ability to apply critical thinking and sound judgement to identify, resolve, and communicate routine issues in an environment with changing priorities and varying workloads
⦁ Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and interruptions while maintaining accuracy and meeting established deadlines in a fast-paced environment
⦁ Ability to maintain professionalism, diplomacy, and tact while handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion
